Time To Talk About What You Are Good At!

 Have you ever been told that we were all born with a gift? Or born with multiple gifts? Have you ever sat there and thought deeply about what was your natural gift? Have you done it honestly with yourself? Look, the truth of the matter is that we are all good at something. The scale of what we are good at depends on the individual. You can be good at cooking, not great, but good. My wife often tells me she was born with a gift to shop, and yes, she was 😂. Still confused, well let me share my list of gifts.

I was born with an ability to talk to people. I had the gift to gab. I was born with an incredible imagination. I was born with an ability to tell a story, as well as the gift to write about it. I was born with way more gifts, but I think you get the point.

 Now, where am I going with this?

It's time to take stock of your gifts, inventory them correctly, and begin asking "how can I develop my gifts to the level of making money?" How can I monetize what I am good at? 

I was stuck in a low wage career when I asked myself these same questions? After long nights reviewing, I decided that the one skill my gifts can align with was sales. I knew that I was a natural in the skill of sales. Once I entered the sales game, it didn't take me long to reach new heights. I committed myself to developing my skills once I understood how to monetize my gifts.

Are you a good cook? Plenty of ways to make money cooking for private clients. Do you love to shop? Plenty of ways to write or film your shopping experience into product reviews. Do you love watching movies or television shows? Do you love music?

Are you good with people? Are you organized? Are you good with numbers? Are you a good learner? Do you have the "gift to gab"?

We all are good at something, maybe not great, but definitely good. More importantly is we can all make money with our gifts. You can develop your gifts into real world skills and apply them towards a career change, or a start-up business. YouTube, Udemy, LinkedIn are just a few of the resources available to developing your gifts into skills. All you have to do is sit down for a moment and think about it.
